In the morning, a 47-year-old male employee at the Central Harbourfront Observation Wheel fainted in the staff rest room. Before losing consciousness, he had reportedly mentioned feeling chest discomfort to a colleague. A colleague on-site immediately attempted emergency first aid, and paramedics soon arrived to transport him to the hospital. Unfortunately, he was certified dead after arrival. The deceased had been a senior technician for over seven years and had a record of underlying health conditions.
